Deep Hip & Neck Work
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Heather Luttrell graduated from The Atlanta School of Massage in 2004, upon completion of her studies in neuromuscular therapy and deep tissue. Although an Atlanta native, her travels around the world have lended to studies of many different modalities including Thai massage, craniosacral therapy, cupping, pregnancy massage, vibrational therapy and energy work. Her style is often described as melodic, as she flows through techniques and modalities best suited to your bodies needs. Heather truly enjoys aiding humans on their path to a holistic and pain free existence, as well as teaching them ways to help themselves with stretches, breath work and nutrition. Her work is deep and soothing, providing long term as well as immediate relief of injuries, or simple relaxation. Specializing in deep work for the neck/shoulders and hips, Heather seeks to bring balance back to the body, and a healing touch to the heart.
Heather is also a yoga instructor and musician, is never without a book, and believes laughter is often the best medicine.

WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF YOUR JOB?
Getting to the root of a problem and working through it with my clients by weaving a healing spell that relieves the pain and helps them on the path to recovery.
WHO OR WHAT INSPIRES YOU
Bugs and adaptation. I really, really dig bugs... all the technology in the world and we still cannot explain mimicry (when a butterfly or moth in a geographical region takes note of another species surviving better, it mates, lays eggs and when those caterpillars hatch, eat and cocoon, they come out looking more like the other species, like the moths that look like bees). I want to be able to grow, change and adapt like that while still retaining a bit of effervescent mystery :)
WHAT WOULD YOUR SUPERPOWER BE?
Flight. Period. I dream constantly about flying. I have been jumping off vertically challenging places since I was a child in a vain effort to gain the power of flight. Many a broken bone and fattened lip have I suffered, to say in the least. To be fair, I was very impressionable as a wee lass, and thought I would sprout wings if I jumped off something high enough, like the girl Gelfling in The Dark Crystal. I am apparently not a Gelfling or Daryl Hannah from Splash.... but that’s a story for another time.
WOULD YOU PREFER TO EXPLORE SPACE OR THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN?
The answer is both, as they are not that different. We know very little about either one. The bioluminescent kingdom at the bottom of the ocean has always fascinated me, but anyone who knows me knows that I would give anything to pilot my own spaceship... Firefly class of course. I'm pretty obsessed with space and planetary exploration in general.
